Kevin Blanco MadariagaKevin is a statistical engineer with a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Santiago de Chile, specializing in data science (U. Michigan) and machine learning (U. Stanford). He is currently a doctoral student in Social Neuroscience and Cognition at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and a research assistant at the Center for Social and Cognitive Neuroscience (CSCN). His research explores the intersection of mathematical modeling, machine learning, multimodal neurophysiology, and experimental phenomenology, aiming to understand how subjective states—such as empathy—can be inferred from bodily dynamics and neurophysiological correlates. Kevin is committed to developing analytical frameworks that integrate first- and third-person data through variational inference models, bridging the explanatory gap between body and consciousness and modeling subjective experience in its dynamic, contextual, and embodied expression.Know my Work
